Email Etiquette

Using proper email etiquette can make or break your career. Many of the same rules for phone calls also apply to email. 

   1. Never respond to email while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

   2. Use a subject and make sure it reflects the content of the message. 

   3. Do not say negative things about people. 

   4. Use proper grammar and punctuation. 

   5. Always remember that using all caps is akin to yelling. THIS IS JUST LIKE SHOUTING!

   6. Everything you say in email is public speech and can become public record, AKA admissible in court. All email communication sent or received through your Crossland account is archived. Even if you delete it, we still have it.
